Current Favorite | Moisturizer & Skincare Brand

Growing up my skin was awful. I was plagued with breakouts, one after the other, and an oil slick of a face. Fast forward to my early 20's and my skin did a complete 180. I still get the occasional breakout but my skin isn't oily anymore. In fact, it's the complete opposite, desert dry. I popped into Sephora months back to up my moisturizer game. Needless to say I left with 4 or 5 different samples that the lady had recommended I try. I put them all to the test and hit the moisturizer jackpot! If you have dry skin and have tried just about everything to remedy it, RUN to Sephora and pick up my holy grail moisturizer The True Cream Aqua Bomb by belif

The True Cream Aqua Bomb feels amazing on the skin, think a cool mist on a hot summer day kind of feel. It leaves my skin feeling quenched but not greasy. It absorbs nicely and has a fresh scent that isn't overpowering.

Belif is a relatively new Korean skincare brand here in the states. I recently ran out of the moisturizer and ended up picking up this set to try out more of their products. It features their top 5 bestsellers and comes with the Aqua Bomb Moisturizer. It's a great way to try out the products and see if they work well for your skin. The best part? It's only $20!

This Creamy Cleansing Foam Moist is a great gentle cleanser. It has a light citrus scent which I enjoy. The directions call for using a penny-sized amount but a pea-sized amount is plenty for me as it lathers nicely. I recommend taking your make-up off with a wipe before cleansing with this as it is very gentle and probably wouldn't do a good job getting all your make-up off.

I don't generally use a toner but figured I would try the Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner out since it was included in the set. I can't really tell a difference in my skin though it does feel nice applying it on a freshly cleansed face.

The Hungarian Water Essence is supposed to be applied after cleansing and toning the face with the Aqua Bomb to follow. It is clear and has a watery-gel consistency. Apply quickly as it does dry on the skin pretty fast. I'm not sure I would purchase a full size of this as the Aqua Bomb does a good enough job moisturizing for me. On days where your skin is extra dry, this is probably good to have on hand for extra moisture.

Last is the Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream. I really like the balm-like consistency of this one. I'm not an avid eye cream wearer as my skin is still fairly youthful but I have been plopping this on before bed since I bought it. Not a bad habit to start in your early 20's, right? I can't vouch for its performance but it's worth a try if you jump for the $20 set.

What are your favorite moisturizers/skincare brands that I should try?
